Where and when will the conference take place?

The conference will take place at the The conference will take place at the Universidad de Concepción, Chile, from January 13 to 15, 2027. Detailed information about the venue and dates can be found in the "Conference" section of the website.

The Conference is organized by the Society for Theory and Research on Salutogenesis (STARS), the Global Working Group on Salutogenesis, and the Universidad de Concepción (Chile).

The official languages of the Conference are English and Spanish. Simultaneous translation will be provided for plenary sessions and roundtables only.

Abstract Submission

Who can submit an abstract?

Researchers, professionals, academics, and students are welcome to submit abstracts related to salutogenesis and health promotion, in one of the 4 conference themes specified on the page.

Accepted submissions may be presented in the following formats, according to the General Call for proposals and the Call for Proposals from the Salutogenic Rebels Committee:

Participation

Can I attend the conference without presenting a paper?
Yes. Participants are welcome to attend the conference without presenting a paper or poster.

Certificates

Will participants receive a certificate of attendance?
Yes. All registered participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
Yes. Presenters will receive a certificate confirming their participation as speakers or presenters.

Certificates can be downloaded from the platform once the conference is over.
