STRENGTHENING WELL-BEING: A HISTORIC MEETING OF SALUTOGENESIS IN LATIN AMERICA

Drawing upon Antonovsky’s concept of Salutogenesis this conference shifts the focus from a disease-centered model to strengthening health-promoting resources. We seek to establish a cross-cultural, interdisciplinary hub dedicated to creating coherent, sustainable settings. As the first edition hosted outside Europe, this event represents a historic milestone to showcase and empower contributions from Latin America.

Connecting and weaving as main purpose of the conference

In a highly connected global reality, the conference seeks to be a space for integrating knowledge, practices, and cultures around human well-being based on Salutogenesis. Its purpose is to inspire collaboration between science, community and traditions, promoting a vision of health based on connection, equity and hope.

The conference follows an interactive format that promotes participation. You will be able to actively share, exchange, and debate current trends in Salutogenesis theory, research, and implementation. We encourage all participants to submit an abstract related to the conference themes.
